Calista's Artistic Journey
I am a passionate visual artist from Adelaide, South Australia inspired by the interplay of color and form. I have yet to find my artistic style so I work in a variety of mediums. I am often pulled back to the combination of bold colours and distinctive linework. Each piece is intended to inspire creativity and joy. Recently, my creative journey has also led me to explore abstract techniques through acrylic paintings, where I continue to enjoy the application of colour as well as texture.

Watercolour Landscapes
My first serious art project involved a myriad of landscapes in watercolour. It is still ongoing but the intention was to build skill in the techniques of watercolour.
Fruit Paintings
An exploration of fruit in still life across a variety of mediums including Gouache, Watercolour and Acrylic paint. A vibrant project and in-depth study of colour and form.
Acrylic Abstracts
A large scale collection of abstract pieces. Combining a combination of colours, textures and other mixed medias to produce a collection I dub, ‘House Party’.
