1.Overview
This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through bycalista.com (“Site”) operated by Calista Cox (“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy applies to physical products and digital products, by placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will do our best to assist you in accordance with this policy and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
This Returns Policy applies to By Calista, the artist’s website located at bycalista.com. 2. Change of Mind
Refunds and exchanges are not offered on changes of mind or incorrect size selection. All items are made to order and are unable to be resold, once produced.
3. Colour Variations
Every effort is made to accurately portray the final product through images and descriptions. Please note that colour may vary between screens and printed materials. Lighting conditions and display settings can have an impact on the online portrayal of the product. Thus, a colour match is not guaranteed. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that colours are represented as closely as possible to the final tangible product. Colour variation alone does not constitute a fault or defect eligible for return or refund
4. Returns for Faulty or Damaged Items
If items arrive damaged, defective or incorrect please contact hello@bycalista.com with a description of the damage and clear images within 7 days of arrival.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Following appraisal we will provide further instructions for return if applicable. Please do not return items without prior approval. If the item is deemed faulty or damaged through no fault of the customer, a replacement will be issued.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Approved refunds can also be issued in the form of store credit for future purchases at By Calista.
Store credits will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
6. Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@bycalista.com.
7. Return Timeframes and Costs
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Returns must be initiated within a reasonable time frame applicable under Australian Consumer Law. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria or where the item shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
8. Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product fails to meet acceptable quality standards or does not match its description.
